I’m not much for Country music or Christian music but I love this quote about Technology from Country Christian singer Andrew Heller:

“Technology is like a fish. The longer it stays on the shelf, the less desirable it becomes.”

I rediscovered the quote while reading through my roster of tech blogs and newspapers recently and there could not have been a better time to be reminded of it. Just three months ago WhatsUp Gold released v14; a truly impressive upgrade to our core product; and now, in just one week, we’re not only releasing v14.1 but WhatsConfigured, a plug-in providing automated configuration management.

It feels good to work for a company that embraces the continuous nature of innovation; a spoiling fish WhatsUp Gold will never be.
