Sales and Technical Certification Program

Sales Certification: To achieve Sales Certification, sales representatives must complete four training modules available through the Partner Portal. Each module takes about 25 minutes. Upon completion of each module, a quiz will be given; passing which will help you gain additional partner benefits.
Technical Certification: To achieve Technical Certification, sales engineers need to complete one online webinar, which are held monthly (class schedules appear on the Partner Portal). Upon completion of this one-day course, a test will be given.

Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold Partner Program Levels

Becoming an Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold Partner is easy: simply complete an online application. We’ll review it and register you as either an Advantage, Select or Premier Partner. It takes very little to become an Advantage Partner, and you get a number of important benefits; Select and Premier Partners get many more benefits and must meet the following criteria:

Must buy from one of our distribution partners (in countries where applicable)
Website highlighting Ipswitch’s network management product line
At least one (1) certified sales & technical engineer on staff

Maintaining Select Partner status requires:

Revenue attainment – Minimum of six new Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold licenses in annual revenue
Certification – At least one (1) certified sales & technical engineer on staff
Marketing Activities – At least two (2) proactive marketing campaigns (e.g., email blast, direct mailing, webinar) each year

Maintaining Premier Partner status required:

Revenue attainment – Minimum of 12 new Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold licenses in annual revenue
Certification – At least one (1) certified sales & technical engineer on staff
Marketing Activities – At least four (4) proactive marketing campaigns (e.g., email blast, direct mailing, webinar) each year
