When Autotask, a provider of web-based IT Services Management Software, was looking to enhance their remote network monitoring, alerting, and service ticket response solution for MSPs they turned to WhatsUp Gold. The integration with WhatsUp Gold is based on email alerting functionality which helps Autotask to create service tickets for immediate problem resolution.

AlarmTILT

Extended alert management with AlarmTILT BC Client for WhatsUp Gold

Reduce downtime and improve availability with AlarmTILT BC plug-in for WhatsUp Gold, the most flexible and innovative alerting solution.

AlarmTILT BC is an intelligent bi-directional alarm dispatcher offering e-mail, SMS and voice alert functionalities as an open and fully managed service. Critical alerts are automatically transmitted to the right destination (group or individual) regardless of the communication channel used and the number of devices, via a secured tunnel (HTTPS, leased line, GPRS, etc). With AlarmTILT BC Client, transmitted data are encrypted for an enhanced confidentiality and security.

In order to avoid any single point of failure in the incident and alert management chain, the AlarmTILT Client also acts as a connectivity monitor. AlarmTILT constantly checks the Java Client and alerts the customer's staff immediately in case of a connectivity loss. Critical information will be delivered even in case of total destruction of the customer's environment. This would not be possible with a dedicated solution.

Orsenna is developping plugs-ins for WhatsUp Gold in order to provide new features to customers like Oracle and MySql access , monitoring through SSH, monitoring through NRPE agents. We develop also on-demand plug-ins.
