Fixes in WhatsUp Gold

  • Fixed an issue with the WhatsUp licensing code that could cause WhatsUp to not recognize that a monitor or feature was enabled in the license.
  • Corrected an install issue that could cause WhatsUp Gold to be installed to the \Windows\ directory if a reboot was required to deliver the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 pre-requisite.
  • orrected a WhatsUp database upgrade script that could cause the database schema upgrade to fail in certain environments. This fix only applies to users ugrading from version 14.0 and prior.
  • Updated the Discovery Service to allow clients to connect to it using an IP other than localhost or loopback (127.0.0.1). See the following Knowledge Base article for instructions on implementing this workaround.

Fixes in WhatsConnected

  • Corrected an issue, in WhatsConnected, where users were unable to click OK after a discovery completed.

Fixes in WhatsConfigured

  • Added support for Cisco PIX and ASA firewalls in WhatsConfigured.
