WhatsUp Gold v15.0.2

Summary

This upgrade is a recommended update for all releases of WhatsUp Gold v15.0.x, which contains several defect fixes and security updates throughout the WhatsUp Gold appplication. Ipswitch recommends all users of WhatsUp Gold v15.x to update to v15.0.2. Please see the below for a complete list of fixes and updates.

Fixed in this release

Install

Corrected an error in the WhatsUp Gold install program to now allow users to continue installing when a reboot condition is detected during the WhatsUp Gold install process.

General

Upgraded WhatsUp Gold internal TFTP Server to the latest release 1.0.1.
Corrected an issue introduced in WhatsUp Gold v14.2 and affecting versions 14.3.x, 14.4.x, and 15.x that allowed for unintended directory traversal.

Translation

Corrected issues that caused WhatsUp Gold double-byte languages to display incorrect characters for some special characters.
Corrected issues that caused native Japanese Windows systems to display incorrect characters in the WhatsUp Gold web interface for some characters in IE8 or IE9.
