Requirements

  • You must have WhatsUp Gold version 8 installed.

Summary

  • Device UP alerts are now processed if an alert is triggered by an event, after a Device DOWN alert is triggered.
  • In e-mail notifications, all lines are now limited to 998 characters.
  • Additionally, lines are universally terminated with a Carriage Return and Line Feed - ASCII character "CR" (hex value 0D) followed immediately by
    ASCII character "LF" (hex value 0A). This ensures SMTP standards compliance.
  • Dependent device Down count is no longer affected by the dependency's Down count.
  • Alerts can now be configured to trigger on specific events when multi selecting devices.
