Activating WhatsUp Gold Software on Secure/Classified Systems
WhatsUp Gold Licenses are fulfilled assuming an Internet connection from the target system in order to verify licensing information and initially activate the software for use. If WhatsUp Gold software detects that there is no Internet connection available it will default to an Offline Activation process. This Offline Activation process may not be permissible for customers (especially within the DoD) installing WhatsUp Gold on secure or classified systems. In this case we can convert your License to what we call a No Server Activation (NSA) type.
