Quick Tip: Discovery

This quick tip video focuses on the discovery process of WhatsUp Gold. To do so go to “Discover” and choose “New Scan.” Here you will see various options for discovering devices such as IP address, IP ranges, subnet ranges, or cloud based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Cisco Meraki Controlled Devices. You can expand the discovery to include virtual environments such as hyper-v and VMware, the wireless infrastructure and connected clients, or storage devices.
