With WhatsUp Gold 2023.1, we have greatly improved the discovery process for new devices. Users can decide what types of device they want to automatically start monitoring. • Dynamic SNMP Table Monitoring: 2023.1 now includes Dynamic SNMP Table Monitoring, allowing users to look at SNMP tables and automatically populate individual instances. Users no longer must create SNMP monitors one at a time, easily look at multiple different values a system is providing and monitor them.
• User-controlled discovery attributes: Device roles now support device attributes that can poll data directly from SNMP and WMI, as well as be populated with any other information collected during your discovery scan.

WhatsUp Gold 23.1 supports direct upgrades from version 20.x and above. If you are running version 19.x or lower, you must first upgrade to v20.x. If you’d like an expert to assist with the upgrade, please consider our Upgrade Service.

Yes, only customers on active service agreements upon release are eligible to upgrade to WhatsUp Gold 2023.1. If you are no longer on an active service agreement, check out the many reasons why you should renew your agreement today.
